They taught an "attitude of entitlement" in which they were given pretty much everything they wanted (for fear that the children would feel deprived) and told they were worth everything and capable of anything (can't mess with their self-esteem). The result: GLUTTONY. Expecting unlimited cheap energy and materials. BECAUSE "they were given so much by their parents".
