My Boomer Tips

Why is it the generation who tried their parents the most are totally out of touch with young people? Seems they have forgotten what being young is about. They are (some, not all) complainers, winers and totally against anything for young people. complain about noise when they had more music noise than anyone, about clothes, about everything they did they doin't want anyone else to experience. that is...FUN

We ask the same question about the generation before us. Nothing new here. Every generation wants to give knowledge to the generation following them, but it isn’t possible, everyone gets to learn from their own mistakes….very sad.

The more things change the more they stay the same. Every new generation thinks the one before them sucks. Wait untill You get old. Im not saying You are wrong, but getting old can be a major bad trip. But like You say, some, not all.

Hey, kid, just because your parents suck doesn’t mean we all do.

They’re probably experiencing guilt over all the fun they had and don’t want anyone else to have fun.

Hey, I’m a baby boomer and I play loud music. Ok, the clothes these days are a bit strange.

I think you just don’t know enough baby boomers. Like any other generation, baby boomers all have different views about everything, including music, clothes, etc.

It is called the generation gap. My parents hated everything I liked as a teenager and told me so often. And now(I am a boomer) I have a hard time trying to understand some rap music and the extremes of body mutilation. Though I try and know I’ld be into it all if I were young again. There will come a day when you will see for yourself that the generation gap is an endless cycle and you’ll be on the other end. Try to chill and take it in stride, like it or not you’ll find yourself doing exactly what you hate hearing now. It is lifes’ progression, that’s all.
P.S. and yes I also said I would never be like my parents when I reached where I am now. It happened anyway.
