My Boomer Tips
some of us baby boomers would love a chance to live like we use to back in the sixties where there was peace and love and the fight for freedom should be possible.
only have one life to live why cant we live in peace. just do our job and be left alone, about the war on drugs, let us toke and joke. why not?
My husband and I are "live aboards". We live on our 35 ft. sailboat and cruise around, fixing the things that always need fixing on the sailbot, but fixing them in very nice places. You don’t need a lot of money and odd jobs and simple ways to make money turn up everywhere. He is a mechanic, I am a retired teacher, so we find things to do.
Peace, brother – or sister!
Believe it or not, New York City would be a great bet. Plenty of jobs in a very socially progressive environment. NYC is safe and is actually a great place for older people to live in–since there are so many resources, services & public transportation. You don’t have to bring the "van"–you can travel lightly on the earth by using a fantastic public transit system.
