My Boomer Tips
ok so im catholic and im getting my confirmation, i chose my nonni (grandmother) to be my sponsor (like a god parent). and i want to get her a gift but i want to get her a unique one. now im a really big animal person so i want that to be a part in it. anyone have any ideas. 10 points for the best seriouse answer.

An elephant.
Get her something form a religious store
Get him an appointment with a shrink. Belief in God is nuts.
a puppy!
Get her a Bible track telling her the true Gospel, so she can be saved.
Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works ("sacraments") that leads to the eternal lake of fire (Galatians 1:6-9). Catholicism cannot save. Only Jesus saves.
Get her a statue of St. Francis surrounded by all the animals
I’m not catholic but i’m baptist so i kinda don’t know what your talking about but i was in a store (i can’t rember what one) but there was a necklace and it had somthing like a turtle on it…but the shell was a dimond …it was really pretty. But i believe just find a necklace with some sort of animal on it and give your grandmother for that gift….
Why don’t you make her a nice embroidered pillow. You can put the date of your confirmation and have it with kittens or puppies. You can buy a kit at any craft store. Even Wal Mart has them. She would probably really like that. Especially if you make it for her.
Peace to you.
How about a chastity-belt that you’re going to wear? I’m sure that’d make her proud!
i like the st. francis idea. i saw a st. francis bird feeder the other day. something like that is a great idea.
i can’t believe people gave beautifulmind thumbs down for that. st. francis is the patron saint of animals!
Someone calling himself chris above me is anti-catholic not knowing that the Bible he is placing his faith on is produced by Catholics. His ‘salvation-by-faith-alone’ would sooner fill heaven with devils because even the devils believe in Christ. In any case, I’m just wondering why he is so anti-catholic when he has not even gone deep into Catholicism. I suspect he just heard those arguments from his pastor without checking really what Catholics believe. He mentioned about sacrament. I wonder what ‘sacrament’ is to him?
As for your grandma’s gift, why don’t you get her a handphone so she wouldn’t have to walk all the way to the housephone everytime you call her?

I like the statues of St Martin de Porres with a dog at his side, which he loved and fed.
