What is the best xmas  gift for a grandmother & grandfather that is pretty inexpensive? They are still young ...just about 60.  They seem to have everything.

They love family photos and albums. Older people also appreciate cuddly warm things like a soft throw or pretty scarf.

I purchased one of those massage/heat full-sized seat toppers for my Grams for this Christmas. She’s 74 and has arthritis and osteoporosis and has a lot of pain now and then. I’m hoping she likes it. It was only $30.00 at Walgreens and she’s always so difficult to buy anything for.

How about a nice framed picture of you?

    Or a restaurant gift certificate

Or a homemade giftcertificate from you for yard work, errands, a dinner, odd jobs, etc.

Or my grandparents always like wine or their favorite gin.

Go to Things Remembered. If you dont have a store close to you, you can order online at http://www.thingsremembered.com. Thay have great gifts, ranging from $10 up and you can get them engraved…They have picture frames, bracelets are $100 but they may have a sale, heirloom items etc.all engraveable. Let me know how it works out.

Try personalcreations.com . Grandparents love personalized stuff, and they have fairly inexpensive things too. :o ) Search for coupons before you buy online, at a search engine just type in coupons and the store’s name. There are frames that you can personalize and put your photo in it. I think that’d be cute and touching.

An airplane rip to Las Vegas and money if the two of them have never been. Of courst this depends if they are able to travel. Taking them out to dinner for christman or visitation to family and or friends with great-grandkids and grandkids or a present of the same thing for both of them. A picture or blanket with your name on it. Matching sweaters or watches or general something that they need the most.

My aunt had a small photo of my grandparents and their first child as a baby, I scanned in the picture and with the help of PaintShop Pro took out the scratches, discolorations, and returned the picture to it’s original quality. I printed it in a larger size and put it in an old timey looking frame that I picked up at a discount store. It was the hit of Christmas with everyone sending me home with photos to fix. It was one of the least expensive gifts I’ve every given, but priceless to my Grandmother!!
