My Boomer Tips

These were the kids of the WW2 families. Spending, Drug abuse, Divorce, Protests, Communism/Socialism, Woodstock, AIDS, and now their grandchildren will have to pay for their MASSIVE debt. Thanks a lot Grandma!!

    I actually have to agree.

I am technically considered a baby boomer myself, but since I was born in the early 1960s, I was much too young in the late 1960s to take part in all of the sex, drugs, protests, and whining about how bad things were.

I had an uncle that worked in a steel mill. New hires would show-up in the 1960s that were not properly dressed for work – like they were wearing cut-off jeans and sandals. The company basically had to GIVE them clothes so they could (barely) go to work and earn good money. Of course, all those well paying mill jobs are long gone…and now people are lamenting the loss of those jobs that paid well, gave full healthcare benefits and 13 weeks of paid vacation. Guess what? The baby boomers never appreciated it when they had it! No wonder the Indians and Chinese are doing that work.

As for people complaining about Generation X and Y. Yeah, they are slackers. But again, why is that? It’s because their overindulgent baby boomer parents spoiled them and told them that they didn’t have to be responsible for anything.

    No.

The X-Y-Zers are lazy, uneducated garbage who blame your failures in life on others. A total waste of carbon and water.

The Greatest Generation gave us the Baby Boomers. They didn’t want their children to face the same hardships that they lived through, but they forgot that those trials helped to build character. Many of the Baby Boomers were too busy finding themselves to bother with raising their own children, so a lot of children from Generation X had to raise themselves.

Morally? absolutely. They screwed the U.S. up big time on multiple levels.

But qualitatively the Millennials will be if something isn’t done fast.

Ofcourse even that is the Boomer’s fault.

    No.

You’re just hemorrhaging out your anus like a typical uneducated, lazy POS x’er.

The Baby Boomers are in for a rude awakening when their SSI checks start bouncing

I’m on the tail end of the boomers, and what you say has a lot of validity, however, those were never the values I was raised with. I see the generation following the boomers as a me 1st, right now, instant gratification generation even more so than the boomers. They want to spend spend spend for now without thinking of the consequences generations to come. And I’m not just talking about government spending, I’m talking about pwersonal spending.
