The "Greatest Generation" that won WWII did not treat Wall Street or the financial industry like a casino. That didn't happen until Baby Boomers like Michael Milken or Lloyd Blankfein started to gain power and influence.
Baby Boomers destroyed the concept of "employer loyalty" - once they took control of corporate America, they went on an outsourcing and layoff rampage. They put us in profound debt to China. Baby Boomer presidents like Bill Clinton signed away America's future with treaties like NAFTA.
Why do Boomers work so hard to destroy America?
Boomers - you are seriously the WORST generation in American history. I'm 26, and my grandfather is 78, and we all seem to agree on this fact.
Would it kill you to show just one single ounce of loyalty to your own country now and then? Why did you treat your own HOUSES like little equity casinos?
The sad thing is, you show ZERO inclination to fix the problems that YOU created! Why?
Baby Boomers, according to CNN Televison (this date) we are screwed! As of 1-1-2011 TEN THOUSAND Baby Boomers a day will become eligible for retirement, for the next 19 years. Problem is Social Security, our Governement and those we invested money with have left us behind. Wall Street crash, things like Bernie Madoff, ENRON and so much more. You 401K is now a 201K and you will be forced to work until the day you drop dead! Your governement and investment companies have LIED to you, made a profit off it at YOUR EXPENSE with no remorse or guilt, and probably will never be prosecuted for their actions. In the meantime I smell a REVOLUTION coming, many angry Senior Citizens up in arms as they lose everything they thought they had. Bottomline? We got screwed by our government and investment bankers and their ilk! Hope ya like working for Walmart until you drop dead as a door greeter for minum wage. IF you can even find a job at our age? BTW, all the government does is write IOUs to the Federal Treasury on Social Security, the American Dollar will devalue soon! And lets not forget AGE DISCRIMINATION looking for work. Oh yeah, they will still try and tax you past death too. Our country is killing the Middle Class. Remember AGE DISCRIMINATION too, IT DOES EXIST!
