Can anyone tell me how the baby boomers and my parent's generation survived?

My Boomer Tips

These are the Lyrics' to Bucky Covington's "A Different World". I love this song - I laugh everytime I hear it, and honeslty wonder how my parents and grandparents made it so far.

We were born to mothers who smoked and drank
Our cribs were covered in lead based paint
No child proof lids no seat belts in cars
Rode bikes with no helmets and still here we are, still here we are
We got daddy’s belt when we misbehaved
Had three TV channels you got up to change
No video games and no satellite
All we had were friends and they were outside, playin’ outside
It was a different life
When we were boys and girls
Not just a different time
It was a different world
School always started the same every day
The pledge of allegiance then someone would pray
Not every kid made the team when they tried
We got disappointed and that was all right, we turned out all right
No bottled water, we drank from a garden hose
And every Sunday, all the stores were closed
It was a different world!
R - I grew up with the wooden spoon, and my dad's leather belt. When I did something wrong, it only took my parent's ONCE, and guess what, I never did it again.

My Boomer Tips

a) Network TV
b) Video Games
c)Billboards

My Boomer Tips

I would like to know how many "baby boomers" play video games? I know we younger people are guilty of calling our parents "ol fuddy duddies" for not being fun sometimes, but I'm just curious how many people over the age of 50 play video games (doesn't matter which console)
