My Boomer Tips

My friend is moving away. She was quiet until lunch and until 4th period (P.E.) she told me that she was moving. Then she broke down crying. She says she doesn't want to go but her mom has to move 'cause of her job. Well, me and my friends were thinking to make her happy on the last days, and to give her a present, so she wouldn't miss us as much. So we decided to get a gift and write all of our names on it with our favorite Perfume, and each bring one of her favorite foods on Crazy Friday(My school hosts a school party every friday with music and games). Then we are going to present everything to her on friday.

We are gonna bring Taki' (a type of mexican/spanish potato chips), some chocolate chip muffins, spaghetti, and of course, cookies! We will be sitting under a umbrella, on a blanket, in the grass, listening to music and watching people play games and dance. We will give her gifts and things like that. But my teddy bear I was gonna give to her is ruined, because my grandmother gave it to my dogs and they destroyed it. But luckily I have 3 more, but I have no idea which to give. There is a green/blue bird(its a webkinz), a giraffe, and a donald duck teddy, which one is the best you think? Do you that it is too much, and make her miss us even more? What do you think?

~Please and Thank You~

My Boomer Tips

I'm 21 years old and I am gay....I have been talking to an older gentleman online who is 50 years old. We've also talked on the phone (non-sexual conversation). He just sent me a message saying that he will be driving through my area tomorrow AM and wanted to know if I would be willing to get together with him for a drink or lunch. Here's what he said:
hey Gerry,
i'm going to syracuse saturday am, driving through your area to & from, just wondering if you wanted to get together for a drink, lunch, ect.?, let me know, take care, greg
===========================

I have been sitting in from my computer for about half hour trying to respond. I don't want to sound rude because he has somewhat of an idea where I live and stuff like that, so I need to be polite. Below is an e-mail that I have started to write. Can someone please help me edit this so that it sounds better? Basically, he's 50, and I’m 21. He's old enough to be my father. He told me that he wouldn't mind having a serious descreet relationship with me, however I am very uncomfortable with the age difference.
========== Here's my response ==============

Good Evening Greg,

Thanks for your message.

Right now I feel it is important for me to be honest with you about my feelings.

I am a little uncomfortable with our age differences (that's not to say that I don't want to speak to you ever again, because I am not saying that at all).

Honestly, you sound like a very nice guy and I really enjoyed speaking to you over the phone.

It's amazing how much we could talk about over the phone in the the two or three hours that we talked.

I would not, by any means have any objection to speaking with you through phone & email under conditional circumstances.

Best Regards,
- Gerry

In my last paragraph when I said "conditional circumstances", I am not sure what the heck that means in reality, but in my message it is supposed to mean that I don't want to engage into any sexual conversations or physical sexual activity just yet.

After a while of talking I believe that I will be more comfortable and relaxed if I had to meet you in person.
I'm hesitant to say anything. He knows what I drive but I lied about the color of my car after I realized how close he is to me. Just the other day we were in the same town at the exact same time. I found this out later after we got back on the internet. He sounds like a very nice guy. I can tell by his voice he isn't a creep. He even told me if I wanted to keep things over the phone he would be fine with that. I'm hesitant to say anything because he might take it the wrong way. He did admit that he is in to younger guys like myself.

i'm not jewish, never been to a bat-mitzvah, when asking the only info i got was not to take pictures except at a special moment and not to use electrical devices like cell phones as it's on the sabbath. apparently the rabbi and church are progressive though some orthodox guests will be there. i was told a little dressy but otherwise no dress code. thanks for any tips. there's no lunch planned, just a posh snack

Should I go to my best friend's birthday party?

My Boomer Tips

Hello. Here's the deal. On the 15th of June me and my best friend have the exact same birthday. I'll be 16 and he'll be 15. Of course he's having his party on the 15th. He never, ever has had it on the 15th. He's done the exact same party every single year. We go to the same theme park, have the same thing for lunch, even ride the rides in the same exact order! After 8 or 9 years of this party it gets too much to handle. I have never really wanted to go since I though about a few things. It's my 16th birthday! The most exciting birthday of my entire life! I wanna get my license, I wanna spend time with my parents and grandmother and have a nice Italian lunch at my favorite restaurant and maybe go birthday shopping... I really don't like the sound of spending my 16th birthday at my other friends party. Everyone will be giving him presents and not even pay attention to me. Last year I acknowledged his birthday and gave him a .00 gift card, and he didn't give me a thing. So what do you guys think? What would you do? Please help, I only have a week to decide. Thanks, you guys don't know how much this helps me. (:
