My Boomer Tips

the baby boomers have sucked dry the economy and now retiring leaving the mess for their kids to clean up. Could they go down and the biggest failure of a generation ever in history?

    Fortunately I don’t have any children. So I am leaving it to everyone else’s children. They should have all worn condoms like I did. So, no I’m not ashamed.

    I think so. They let the Rich take over everything and put up little fight.
    The generation before them was the last great generation.

    Yes, they outsourced the jobs and hired the illegals and allowed lead paint toys to get to kids. There seems to be a huge gap between the fading generations and the youth right now.

    Sex, drugs, and rock n roll, along with atheist taught values. Yep, there are some lessons for the youth to learn not to do.

    In general, yes. They should be ashamed because after forty or so years of them making decisions (politically, economically, and personally) based on expediency, my generation and several generations after me will have to make some really tough decisions, and it is going to hurt terribly, all to pay for a debt we had no part in accumulating.

    Well we can’t say they knew what they were doing because nobody that designed social security and medicaid could predict the slowing population growth that we see today. I will say it is a testament to all the reasons government should not be involved in our lives.

    Our children are as obnoxious as hell. Leaving them a mess to clean up would serve them right.

    How can you try and blame the baby boomers when it is they who fought to help make this country free and develop the technology that exists today? People have a right to retire and collect the benefits they earned over 40-50 years of working. Boomers do not whine and expect others to provide for them like the younger generations who believe they are "entitled" to something when they earned nothing. Perhaps the younger generations need to actually work and earn things rather then hold out their hands. Boomers are the generation that created industry and jobs and now those company’s are run by the younger generations who could care less about American pride.

    Yeah, but we have to be careful not to blame all our problems on them. We don’t want to be LIKE THEM after all. We need to be better.
