My Boomer Tips

This is my rant against the increasing globalization of America and the erosion of our government into a corporate fascism. Do something, America! Vote in November!

    @Sshelly34213 That is true.

    A part of me kind of likes the absurdity of the west coast-minus the shitty desert states, but on the other hand, everything has a saturation point. I’d probably get bored after awhile. Oh by the way, I’m moving to Cali in the fall, San Francisco in the fall.

    I don’t know if I’m going to stay there for awhile or check out NY.

  2. MrRuigni

    @Sshelly34213 Oregon is much better.

  3. MrRuigni

    @Sshelly34213 I do.. I make the best of it, but I dont plan to be in FL long term.
    The suburbs in FL are the worst ever and baby boomer hell too.

  4. MrRuigni

    @Sshelly34213 Yea.. they willingly take abuse.. I think many are jealous of their children sometimes because their kids are smarter.

  5. Sshelly34213

    @MrRuigni Yea, ugh the suburbs in general are a horrid, barren wasteland of useless white people who do nothing but bitch about shit they don’t understand or even want to understand

  6. Sshelly34213

    @MrRuigni That is true, I think the boomers are jealous because we’re young and they’re not.

    Notice how they always bitch about the fact that we’re not “taking to the streets and protesting!” As if that ever does anything…

    If you want to change your country, get better politicians. Stop voting for these assholes in congress, why do they always get so much support and for 40+ years? They do a rubbish job!

  7. Sshelly34213

    @MrRuigni Oregeon sounds like a pretty interesting place, but then again so does any other place besides the one I’m living at (except the south…I really never want to go there.)

  8. MrRuigni

    @Sshelly34213 And where do you live at?

  9. Sshelly34213

    @MrRuigni CT

  10. MrRuigni

    @Sshelly34213 Do you like CT?

  11. Sshelly34213

    @MrRuigni It’s boring and filled with a lot of white, rich, closet racists. Although no one gives a shit about what you’re doing and who you are. I told my mom I didn’t believe in God and she doesn’t even care.

    Although I guess I should be thankful that I wasn’t raised in the south (I know that sounds shitty, but I can’t help but be grateful for that.)

    @Sshelly34213

    I thought the same about CT, but I really think you also have to be to some places before you can say a place is bad. I thought CT was horrible, but I also havent been to FL yet then. I havent seen deep suburban hell in FL far from everything at that time either.. Im sure today, CT still may kinda sorta suck to me if I saw it, but not as bad as other places I seen since.

    The south does suck on the whole I think.

  13. Sshelly34213

    @MrRuigni I have been to other places, Spain, Canada, Florida, Virginia, the only places I haven’t been to are the midwest and the west coast.

    I wouldn’t say CT was horrible, at least the people don’t care about your life. It does stink a great a deal though, everyone is paranoid beyond belief here. (They think black people are waiting to steal their shit.)

    @Sshelly34213

    Yea thats good if people mind their business. I look at suburban CT as extremely no personality though. Hartford maybe more. Hartford seems like its a city full of wannabe NYC tough guys tho but then again they say how certain parts are fixing up.

  15. Sshelly34213

    @MrRuigni Haha, hell no, there is no personality to any of the houses here. It depends also, if you’re talking about wealthy CT, then no. The suburbs where I live are ok, there are some different looking houses, a wooded area with a stream and a lake close by. (not just one tree on a barren lawn) -I’m talking like Cheshire wealthy, moderate wealth.

    Oh…no they are NOT wannabe they WILL shoot you, or New Haven rather. Hartford is one of the most dangerous cities in the US.

    What is your view on America and energy. I believe the best President to steer America in the right direction was Jimmy Carter. He proposed clean renewable energy, and if America had heeded his warnings, perhaps there would be no recession now, no global warming, no fear for the future of our planet, our children and grandchildren. Reagan and America dismissed this, and steered in the dirction of rampant consumerism and capitalism. What are your opinions on this (oil, GW etc)
