Lost Baby Boomers Classic TV Space Cartoon – Retro TV
My Boomer Tips
This is a short clip of the Polaris rocket on its way to the planet Mars from the old classic outer space cartoon that was lost for years! Old enough to be classified a baby boomers cartoon. 50 years old this year so that makes it a film antique. This was a classic cartoon series about a boy (the son of his astronaut father) who stowed away onboard a rescue rocket inside a crate. Stars are Jimmy, Nancy, Professor Nordheim, Smitty the Navigator, and astronaut Commander Perry. Shown on these shows and stations in the 1950's and early 1960's: ►Ranger Hal (Hal Shaw of WTOP-TV Channel 9 in Washington, DC), ►Sheriff John (John Rovick of KTTV-TV Channel 11, Los Angeles, CA), ►"The Pancake Man" (Hal Smith, seen on KHJ-TV (Now KCAL) Ch. 9 In Hollywood, CA), ►Garfield Goose (Frazier Thomas of WGN-TV Channel 9 in Chicago), ►Captain Satellite (Bob March of KTVU-TV, Channel 2 in San Francisco, CA), ►Major Mudd (Ed T. McDonell of WNAC-TV Channel 7 in New England, Boston), ►"Afternoon Roundup" (Sally Starr of WFIL-TV Channel 6 in Philadelphia, PA), ►PJ's Club (Pete Jamerson of WMAL-TV Channel 7 in Washington, DC). * The Merry Mailman (Ray Heatherton of WOR-TV and WPIX in New York, NYC)? www.TheSpaceExplorers.com Radio & Television Packagers, Inc. DearInventor,
“Space Explorer’s”TV Cartoons were never shown on
“The Merry Mailman”on WOR TV Ch.9 in NYC.
They were shown on”The Space Explorer’s Club” and

Gallopin’ Galaxies!
(I know, that was something else)
What happened to the rest of the video? I grew up watching Bob March as Captain Satellite. I had 2 friends who were on the show.
No REAL captain satellite? or Charlie and Humphrey? or Stan on ch20 and speed racer?…. waaaay back and I dont even remember the name-it was a cowboy host who played wake up little suzy and showed ‘Hercules cartoons in 1964.
Gone…all gone…like mists….
