Younger generations grew up spoiled and “special’ trust fund brats taking everything for granted. Get a clue.
Most of those spoken about – have worked hard to get to where they are – its true this issue has been known for years – and the govt have not prepped. When I was growing up I did not expect to have what I have today – that was in a time following the war – and devastation. So what we have today – all the nice things are down to hard work of the so called baby boomers. There is loads of money in our society – I wonder what the wealth of the nation really is ( Trillions).
However there are people in our society who are paid millions a year not £20K who along with those yuppie types who run banks and big business – have bonuses per that would look after thousands of baby boomers – are really at the front of our issues. Just think if the Baby Boomers had been more careful those complaining may not be here…..

Go and ask your parents if they:
a) Went to university
b) What age they got their first car
c) What age they first travelled abroad
d) When they bought there first home (and what size it was)
..now ask yourself the same questions (assuming you’re 35 or younger). I think you’ll find overall
a) my of their children went to university
b) more of their children had a car earlier
c) the kids have more international travel under their belt at similar ages
d) they had the same problems with housing

I love my folks. But a lot of this rings true. When am I ever going to afford even a tenth of what my folks have? I’m not being greedy, I just want a a place to live and a steady job, and a bit of money left over at the end of the month so i can save for the future. That’s the bare minimum my parents expected out of life. Right now, even that’s unrealistic for most people I know.
All this has happened in the last ten years, when Boomers have been in power. I say kick em out and let us have a go

Yes young people need to start educating themselves and get involved. This is the only way to create change. The younger generations don’t have wealth to look forward to, only debt and taxation. We are here to provide revenue to the banks and to the government. How does this make you feel?
