My Boomer Tips
I travel quite often and find myself eating in airports and in restaurants. I know that isn't the best diet either.

take a vitamin complex , works well.
I think you should take some supplements like Centrum.
Centrum Silver has all the vitamins that an older adult needs
I found this site which explains the most important vitamins for a woman, and why they’re so important

Alls you need is one good multivitamin. Anything else is just making someone else’s wallet healthy. Centrum Silver is a good one for 50+.
I would suggest a Centrum multi vitamin. If you are worried of catching a cold (as you stated you are often flying and that recycled air is usually deadly) I would suggest taking Cold FX regularly, or maybe odorless garlic pills.
I would also suggest visiting a pharmacist, tell them your situation and medical background. They will tell you exactly what you need to know.
I know at GNC they just came out with these little packs of vitamins, based on each person’s age and lifestyle. Basically what it is, is a packet of vitamins that you would take daily. Which is also great in your case because it would be easier to carry several packets of vitamins. Each pack has a daily dose of them. They can be a little pricy, as much as $50 for a months worth. They call them Vitapaks, I would check out GNC on the internet.
I grew up with osteo-genisis-imperfecta. I found that vit.B1 though 12 bomber is essential. Calcium intake is important. "Coral Calcium Supreme" by Dr. Bob Barefoot, is a powder form and easy for the body to ingest. Has over 72 natural vitamins and helps with arthritis. Anything that is consumed in a raw pill form will not be digested. So don’t waist your time. You can find the above mentioned at rite aid, cvs, wall mart, about 15 dollars.
