How to present a sentimental gift to a guy friend (repost with more info)?
My Boomer Tips
My guy friend and I are sophomores in high school, and he is extremely intelligent, meaning that he'll be leaving our high school next year for an accelerated program.
In my life, my grandmother recently died, and I just attended her funeral.
Between these two things, I've become very sentimental.
Now there's this little thing I've added on to every once in a while on my computer. It's basically a document with lyrics of some songs from my iPod that I've realized fit our very topsy-turvy friendship, and I just finished it.
I realize this is kind of dorky and not exactly the best present for a guy, but like I said, I've become very sentimental lately, and I've decided to go ahead and give it to him.
How should I do this? Just hand it off to him at the end of class? Present it with some ceremony? I'm kinda nervous about how he'll take it.
***THE EXTRA INFO, in case you've already seen this question and wanted more info to answer***
***He knows I can get sentimental, and usually accepts it pretty well, but at the same time he's a very logical person and at times can brush sentiment off.***
***We've been friends for two years, and while we used to used to be a group of three friends, there was a fallout and now it's just me and him, and he's a very different person than he was when I met him. At the same time, though, so am I. I have bent my morals into pretzals trying to keep our friendship- not to mention him- together. Now we're friends as normal again, but I can already feel the distance settling in, and he hasn't even gone off to his program yet.***
PS- I think I kind of like him in more than a friendly way, but I don't know if that changes how I should do this.

Get a REALLY BIG FUNNY CARD … it has to be big like half the size of a bristol board (When folded). And it has to have a funny message or it would say we will miss you.
And go around school finding people HE KNOWS to sign it during lunch time … make sure he’s not around
and before he goes … give it to him
