you can attack it any way you see fit; the fact remains that that both Jefferson and Franklin doubted the divinity of Christ. And all quoted wrote at length about the necessity of keeping government and religion separate. not sure how that’s “off-point.”
and again (not sure why someone marked my response as spam), your suggestion that our founders would be radical social conservatives by today’s standards is completely nonsensical. i’m certain if they were magically teleported to our time they would be taken aback by the sight of an black Supreme Court Justice or a female CEO of a Fortune 500 company. Surely you don’t have a problem with these sorts of social advances?

your presumption about how the Founders would react to reproductive rights or gay marriage or pornography would hardly be considered comprehensive, or factual.

Other “documentaries” like Loose Change (which is bs btw) are put online for free because they actually believe in their cause. same reason why propagandists like Glenn Beck have “premium” content on their site and the Tea Party convention cost over $500 bucks to go to!

they made a product that they believe in, and it cost money to make the film, so they charge money to pay for the cost of making the movie and hopefully make some profit.

@EcSleek well, you can’t argue both extremes. I believe it’s reasonable to ask for some compensation for something that cost you $ to make; at least to cover the costs making it and paying those who helped in its creation. If you can’t accept that, don’t buy anything from your local grocery store, to stay consistent with your previous statement.
@danekjovax Of course it is reasonable. But if they really believed this bull that the put in this movie then they would offer it for free. Like the 911 truthers- they believe their bull. This movie is an example that they’re in this for the money.

@EcSleek You forget that someone is paying a monthly “subscription” fee for you to access this medium, I do believe. No lunch is for free, neither in the Doctor’s time, nor in this one. I see nothing wrong then, or now, with the exacting of payment to recompense someone for their hard and honest work.
