Excellent video. I do however feel that the Baby Boomer Generation destroyed the US and didn;t do such a hot jog raising YGen.

My mom was born in 1960, what generation is she in? She doesn’t seem to fit in the baby boomer gen cause she was a kid in the 1960s, not a teen.

And I was born in 1996 so I am the youngest of generation Y.

I wonder if that kid with the toy gun, burned his draft card and fled to Canada, if he received it.

if you were a kid when you witnessed 9/11 then you are Generation Z. I was 10 …. WOOOOOOOOOO Gen Z! Such a bad ass name!

  18. qxy333

If you cant remember 9/11 WTC then you are Gen Z.
If you cant remember the moon landing as a kid , then you are Gen X.

  19. qxy333

    Your Gen Y

@qxy333 Not according to the National Center for Biotechnology Information. Wiki IT!

  21. qxy333

Ideas about when a Generation begins and ends vary. There’s no official set date for each Generation.

  22. qxy333

    Gen Z: 1996-2010
    Gen Y: 1980-1995
    Gen X: 1965-1979
    Baby Boom 1946-1964
    Silent Gen 1925-1945
    G.I. Gen 1901-1924
    Lost Gen 1883-1900
    Missionary Gen 1869-1882
    Progressive Gen 1843-1868
    etc.

@qxy333 nice video but I disagree with the years you use to define each generation. It takes a minimum of 20 years to make a generation (really 25). Gen X was being born in 1961 until 1981 The cut off date for the boomers was 1960. Gen Y started in 1982 so the earliest of them would be class of 2000 which is why they call us millenials. GenZ started being born in the early 2000′s not 1996. Great video overall though.

There isn’t an official standard to go by with generations, all of its just a rough guide. I went by the post-World War II birth rate baby boom (1946-1964) with gen X following from 1965. But everyone can see it differently depending on what you’de prefer to go by. I see that the way my Gen X grew up is alot different from Gen Y.

If you remember watching the six million dollars man and or woman your generation X for sure.
