I am the child of baby boomer parents, and I am from the US rather than Great Britian, I am thankful for the baby boomer generation as being a powerful force behind positive social changes in the realm of civil/minority rights, women’s liberation, political activism among young college students, an end to sexual repression for women, etc. I would go the way of Sylvia Plath had I been a woman in the 50′s with limited financial, marital, academic, career and other opportunities.
